This High Grade lens benefits from an extreme wideangle perspective plus a constant, wide maximum aperture of f3.5.
Ultra-Wide Zoom
The Sigma 10-20mm lens gives a viewing angle of up to 102.4°, giving dramatic landscape perspective shots and indoor or architectural photos with lots of breathing space.
Fine Optical Quality
In line with the EX range of Sigma lenses, this optic contains some advanced optical glasses and lens designs. Both ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) and SLD (Super Low Dispersion) elements are used, along with two hybrid Aspherical lens groups to actively minimise all aberrations. In addition, Super Multi Layer lens coatings act to minimise ghosting and flare. As well as this a petal-type lens hood is supplied to cut out stray light.
HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor)
This high speed, quiet motor helps you get the shot quickly, while full time manual focus override allows you to quickly and easily override the AF by simply rotating the focus ring.
Consistent Closeups
The minimum focusing distance of 24cm (9.4″) remains the same throughout the zoom range, making closeup photos easier to compose.
